The United Stated of America (USA) has decided to extend the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for the non- immigrants Yemeni nationals who are existing on the US soils.
It is the first extension for 18 month through March3,2020 and it is subjected to review.
The USA enlisted the Yemeni nationals in the (TPS) program in September 2015 in the wake of Houthi militia coup.
The Yemeni embassy in Washington has communicated with the US authorities in charge demanding an extension due to tough circumstances Yemen has been going through.
