Minister of Human Rights said the Houthi putschists have looted humanitarian aid and attacked aid-laden vessels in Hodeidah province as in other parts of Yemen.
Addressing a seminar organized by his ministry in the French capital, Paris, Mohammed Askar said the group have committed various brutalities against civilians in the northwestern province of Hodeidah and across the rest of the country.
He said that Houthis killed and abducted civilians including journalists and other peaceful oppositionists and used civilians as human shields in violation of the International Humanitarian Law. He said that the Iran-backed group has killed and maimed scores of civilians including women and children by the landmines they plant.
