The Yemeni government has reiterated its call to the international community and the Security Council to provide assistance in finding possible ways to resume oil and gas exports as a crucial step towards achieving stability and economic recovery.
Jordanian exports to the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA) by the end of last February of this year increased by 12.2 percent, reaching 515 million dinars, compared to 459 million dinars for the same period last year.

FM heads Yemen's delegation to OIC 7th session preparatory meeting

Yemen is participating in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation OIC's foreign ministers preparatory meeting for the 7th OIC extraordinary summit which will be held in the Turkish city of Istanbul this evening.
Yemen's representing delegation is headed by the country's foreign minister Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi.
In the presence of the leaders of 56 countries, the summit will discuss the consequences of the US decision to move their embassy in Israel fromTel Aviv to the holy al-Quds (Jerusalem) city and the ensuing massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people who took out to the streets to refuse the US move.
The ministers will discuss the possible measures to counter the US move, put a limit to the Israeli violations and punish the persons behind the massacre.
