Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr, along with Governor of Socotra Archipelago Ramzi Mahrous, laid on Sunday the foundation stone for a number of security projects here with cost of YR 700 million financed by the government.
The projects included buildings for the police and security roads and traffics in Qalinsia District, and buildings to police in areas of Abdulkori, Momi, Shawa'b , Harrah and Qa'ra.
Deputy Minister of Interior General Ahmad Mas'ud told Saba that the foundation stone has been laid today to a number of security projects within the political leadership care to the Island, which suffered in the past from lack of security capabilities.
The security forces will continue to be honest guard to any province and any spot of land in Yemen, and this institution will sacrifice sacred blood for protecting the homeland, he said.
