The Yemeni government has said that Israel's genocide crimes against the Palestinian people and the calls by Israeli criminals to annihilate the Palestinian people, amidst international silence, is a mark of shame on humanity.
The victims toll of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has risen to 44,786 martyrs and 106,188 injured, the majority of whom are children and women.
Yemen's permanent envoy to Arab League (AL), ambassador Riyadh Al-Akbari has renewed Yemen's steady and principled stance alongside the Palestinian people for regaining their own territories, refuges return to their own origin areas in the occupied Palestine and setting-free the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation jails.
Speaking at the extraordinary meeting of AL council meeting convened Tuesday to address the crimes committed by the Zionist authorities against the Palestinian demonstrators, Al-Akbari said:" Yemen alongside all Arab countries sought to take international stance condemn the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and criminalize the collective punishment the Israeli occupation authority has embarked on".
Al-Akbari called for setting-up an independent committee to investigate into the crimes committed by the occupation authority.
