The Governor of Taiz province, Ameen Ahmed Mahmoud, discussed today with the chairman and members of the Committee of Rights and Freedoms in the province number of issues for including the largely unpaid salaries to public servicemen.
The meeting discussed the re-operation of service institutions that have been out of order for years as a result of the ongoing conflict. It is hoped that the re-operation of such institutions will generate revenues and contribute to the state budget.
The Governor stressed that the regular payment of salaries to employees is on the top of his agenda and that he is in constant contact with the Prime Minister in this regard.
