Minister of Transports Saleh Ahmad Al-Jabwaniand the Governor of Shabwa, Maj. Gen. Ali Rashid Al-Harthy, inspected today the International Airport of at Ataq in Shabwa's provincial capital as part of efforts exerted by the Ministry of Transport to restore the activity of air and sea ports in the liberated governorates.
During the tour Al-Jabwanihad a close look at the state of the airport building, its' lounge hall, the meteorological room and the damagesthat the Houthiinvasion of the city in April 2015 incurred on the airport facilities.
He stressed that the government has a tendency to resume the work of the institutions and authorities affiliate to the Ministry of Transport and to restore the airport traffic.
