Yemen's UN envoy points to Iran's vandalism in Yemen

Yemen's Permanent Representative to the UN Khaled al-Yamani pointed to Iran's role of vandalism in Yemen which it commits through its Houthi proxy and its other affiliate terrorist groups in the region.
In a meeting with a group of political science students from Williams College in the US, he said that the Houthi militia is waging a proxy war in favour of Iran's agenda of expansion south of the Arabian Peninsula.
He acquainted the students about the situations in Yemen on the political and humanitarian field.
He spoke highly of the effective humanitarian role of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in Yemen, citing the recent Saudi pledge of $1.5 billion worth of humanitarian aid to cover 50% of the total pledged Arab budget for a massive aid plan in Yemen. He said that Iran continues to violate the UN Security resolution 2216 concerning Yemen and other UN resolutions and Nuclear Deal between the international community and the Persian state; by supplying the radical militiawith ballistic missileswhich it uses against Yemen's neighbors and Yemeni cities.
