Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met on Monday with a number of representatives of the political constituencies. The meeting aimed to discuss the latest developments on the Yemeni national arena and create national alignment behind the legal leadership.
The Vice President talked about the efforts have been exerted by the leadership backed by Saudi-led Arab Coalition for restoring the Yemeni state and moving toward building a Federal Yemeni state of six provinces.
(Lt Gen) highlighted the important role of the political forces in supporting legality and rejecting Houthi coup and contributing toward protecting the nation's democratic and national interests.
The Vice President voiced appreciation of the supportive stance by Saudi-led Arab Coalition and United Arab Emirates that help maintaining the Yemeni identity through the two operations of "Decisive Storm" and "Regaining Hope" which have spoiled the Iranian scheme and maintained Yemen within its Arab and Gulf fold.
Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen urged the political forces leaders to redoubling joining efforts together more than ever to cope with dangers which are still looming over our country due to the Iran-backed Houthi militia coup d'état.
"The legal government has managed to retake above 85% of the republic of Yemen's territories", noted Mohssen.
The Vice President has stressed that the Six-Provinces Federal State that Yemenis reached consensus upon in the National Dialogue Conference constitute an upright solution of our country's crisis given that it is the genuine guarantee for security, stability and fair distribution of power and resources.
