Al-Harithi launches resumption of passport authority in Shabwa

Governor of Shabwa General Ali al-Harithi launched on Monday resuming activities of Emigration, Passport and Nationality Authority here after a halt lasted for three years over Houthi militia war on the homeland and the state.
In the inauguration ceremony, Governor al-Harithi toured the section of the authority, which has been equipped with modern automatic passport issuance system and linking it with the main headquarter of the authority.
He was briefed by Director of the branch of Shabwa Authority Mohammad Ma'roof to detailed explanation on the nature of the work in different sections of the authority and its readiness to perform all its tasks, including issuance passports for applicants.
He urged the leadership of the authority to integrate efforts for accomplishing its activities and stressed on abiding by laws and regulations.
