FM meets with the Indian Minister for Foreign Relations

MANAMA-SABA
Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Abdulmalik Al-Mikhlafi met with the Indian Minister for Foreign Relations Mobasher Jawid Aqbar.

The meeting held in Bahrain capital, Al Manama, on the sidelines of "Al-Manama Strategic Dialogue".

Bilateral ties between the two friendly countries and latest political developments in the Yemeni arena were in focus of Al-Mikhlafi and Aqbar talks.

The meeting also touched upon the issue of the Yemeni fishermen who have been detained in India. The two ministers stressed the importance of getting this problem solved.

Yemeni-Indian cooperation in the area of higher education was also addressed during the meeting. Al-Mikhlafi expressed thanks for Indian government for increasing scholarships provided to our country.

The Indian minister stated that his government will send shipment of medicines as humanitarian assistance provided by the Indian people. support
