Chief of Staff: We are facing a transborder militia

The newly appointed Chief of Staff Maj. Gen Taher al-Aqeeli said that "we are facing a transborder militia with a sectarian, racist and bloody agenda for death", in reference to the Saleh-Houthi coupmilitias.
Addressing a meeting of top brass army officers in the Republican Palace in Maribon Friday, al-Aqeeli said the radical militias target "the Republican system and the country's gains and want to turn the country into a threat for the region."
He urged the officers to "undertake tasks with the highest sense of responsibility" saying there are lots of challenges that will require resolve.
"We should not be late in saving our people living under the reign of the putschists, their suffering gets severer from day to day."
