President Hadi receives US Ambassador over peace efforts

President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Monday US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller and discussed with him peace process and efforts of Yemen's government in fighting terrorism.
President expressed sustainable keenness on achieving peace on the bases of the three references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.
He noted to the role of the United States for supporting Yemen and its constitutional legitimacy in different international forums and praised coordination and cooperation between the two countries in different fields, including upending Hothi-Saleh's coup and restoring security and stability across Yemen.
For his part, the US diplomat appreciated efforts exerted by President Hadi for the interest of Yemen, especially efforts of completing the project of the National Dialogue Conference's outcomes approved by all parties. He also praised efforts of the government in restoring the state's institutions, normalizing public life, fighting terrorism and tightening security and stability for initiating development activities.
Tueller congratulated President Hadi on beating terrorism in Shabwa by Yemeni military forces supported by the UAE and Saudi Arabia during the past few days.
He confirmed US Administration's support to Yemen to move forward in achieving peace and cooperation for fighting extremism and terrorism.
"Our attitude is stable in this framework for supporting your efforts and peace in accordance with the three references," said Ambassador Tueller.
