Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Faqmi discussed with Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Yemen Abdul Sattar Isouyf the latest humanitarian situation, displacement needs caused by Houthi militia escalation, and ways to strengthen support for affected people.

The meeting reviewed urgent needs for food, shelter, water, sanitation and healthcare, particularly for the injured.

Al-Faqmi stressed the need to strengthen cooperation, direct aid according to actual needs and coordinate with government authorities to ensure assistance reaches those in need.

The two sides also called for stronger coordination and additional international funding to sustain humanitarian assistance for displaced and affected communities.
