Consultation and Reconciliation Renews Support for Presidential Leadership Council Decisions to Protect National Sovereignty
[14/07/2026 08:52]

ADEN – SABA
The Consultation and Reconciliation Authority has reaffirmed its full and unwavering support for the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), as well as for the decisions and measures issued by the PLC, the National Defense Council, and the government.

It also reiterated its support for all steps taken by state institutions to safeguard Yemen’s sovereignty, preserve national security, and strengthen the capabilities of the armed forces and security agencies in confronting the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist project.

In a statement received by (Saba), the authority said it is following with deep concern and strong condemnation the dangerous escalation by the Houthi terrorist militia, accompanied by blatant Iranian interference and repeated violations of Yemen’s sovereignty.

It described these actions as a clear challenge to international law and United Nations Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2216, emphasizing that they demonstrate the Iranian regime’s continued determination to undermine Yemen’s security and stability and to turn Yemeni territory into a platform for threatening regional and international security.

The authority strongly condemned the Iranian regime’s continued military, financial, and logistical support for the Houthi terrorist militia, stressing that such actions constitute a direct assault on Yemen’s sovereignty.
