Deputy Minister of Finance Hani Wahhab and Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Ahmed al-Maabqi discussed Thursday here with the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Monetary Fund Dr. Fahd Al-Turki, the level of implementation of the comprehensive reform program.

The meeting touched on the issue of addressing the debt owed by the Republic of Yemen to the Arab Monetary Fund, enhancing aspects of joint cooperation and coordination between the government and the Fund and continuing the Fund's support for efforts to implement the reform program and achieve positive results in terms of achieving and enhancing the stability and recovery of the national economy.

The government party praised the support provided by the Arab Monetary Fund.

It expressed aspiration for the Fund to continue its major roles in supporting government efforts to implement financial and monetary reforms during the next phase.
