Yemen, represented by the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority, participated in the Expert Group Meeting on Strengthening Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Systems in the Arab Region.
The meeting was held in Cairo, Egypt, and organized by the League of Arab States, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
The meeting aims to facilitate a technical and strategic dialogue to support efforts to develop and implement comprehensive and effective civil registration and vital statistics systems in various Arab countries.
