Yemen, Morocco Sign Comprehensive Technical Cooperation Agreement in Civil Aviation

Tariq Saleh, PM briefed on final preparations to operate Mokha Airport

The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Tariq Saleh along with the Prime Minister Salem bin Braik held meeting today, Sunday, via videoconferencing with a team from the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Metrology and the Yemenia Airways Company to know about the underway final preparations to operate Mokha Airport in Taiz governorate.

The Deputy Director General of Commercial Affairs of the Yemenia Airways, Team-leader who paid an inspection visit to the airport Mohsen Haidara provided a report about the field checking of the airport, affirming that the airport is ready to put into operation.

Haidara noted that it will be announced within a week about the date of the inauguration.

The PLC's Member stressed the importance of speeding the final technical and managerial preparations to start air flights to and from the airport as soon as possible.

The Prime Minister stated that the government is very keen on easing any difficulties to operate Mokha airport and other airports in the country.
