Minister of Water and Environment, Eng. Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, met with UNHCR's Deputy Representative in Yemen, Marat Atamuradov, in Aden to discuss ways to enhance partnership in addressing climate change.
The meeting focused on continuing coordination efforts and joint planning to review a proposed project submitted to the Green Climate Fund.
The goal is to develop the project to increase funding opportunities for climate change adaptation activities in Yemen.
