Yemen, Russia discuss enhancing economic relations
Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Said al-Shammasi discussed Tuesday with Vasily Gubarev, Deputy Head of the Russian Federation Mission to Yemen, ways to develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries to achieve mutual interests and open wider horizons for joint cooperation.

Leadership Council Chairman Receives Turkish Ambassador

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, received on Sunday the Turkish Ambassador Prof. Dr. Emrullah İşler.

The Turkish Ambassador conveyed to His Excellency the greetings of his Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and his wishes for good health and happiness for His Excellency, and for security, stability, and peace for the Yemeni government and people.

In turn, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council asked Ambassador İşler to convey his greetings and those of his fellow members of the Council to President Erdoğan, and his wishes for good health for him, and for further progress and prosperity for the brotherly Turkish people.

The meeting addressed the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries and prospects for strengthening and developing them, in addition to the latest local and regional developments and issues of common interest.

The Chairman of the Leadership Council praised the long-standing bilateral relations between the two countries at various levels, as well as the Republic of Turkey's supportive stances toward the Yemeni people, their political leadership, and their aspirations for the restoration of state institutions, peace, and stability.

He also commended its highly appreciated humanitarian interventions to alleviate the humanitarian suffering in the country.
