Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh, met with a team from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) led by the organization's Representative in Yemen, Dr. Peter Hawkins, in Aden.
The meeting focused on exploring areas of cooperation between the two parties and discussing ways to develop health interventions that meet the needs of the health sector in Yemen's current circumstances.
The discussions centered on preparing a joint work plan to develop and enhance primary healthcare services, which form the foundation of the health system.
