President al-Alimi participates in the opening session of Arab Summit

CAIRO - SABA
Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, along with Council Member Sultan al-Arada, has participated in the opening session of the extraordinary Arab summit, which commenced on Tuesday here.

The Yemeni delegation to the summit includes Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani, Yemen's Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt Khaled Bahah and the Chargé d'Affaires of Yemen's Permanent Mission to the Arab League Dr. Ali Musa.

The Cairo summit is convening under extremely complex circumstances, primarily driven by Israeli attempts to dissolve the Palestinian issue, displace its people and the ongoing threat posed by terrorist militias, which threaten international peace and security.
