Yemen's weather forecast agency predicted today the weather in the mountainous highlands will be clear and range from very cold to extreme cold at night and early tomorrow.

The Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center said this prediction particularly applies to the western highlands of Taiz Lahj, and Abyan and the interior highlands in Shabwa, Hadhramout and Mahrah.

The center predicted the coastal areas to witness partly cloudy weather - temperate with the possibility of scattered rainfall on parts of the southern coast and the Socotra archipelago.
