Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi held talks with the UK Ambassador to Yemen Abda Sharif over the local Yemeni and regional situations, and bilateral coordination and relations.
Talks went over the disastrous impact of the economic situation in Yemen due to the Houthi terror attacks on oil facilities, cargo ships in the Red Sea, international shipping lanes, the government's efforts to meet the basic needs of its citizens, and its efforts in reform, and on the importance of international support.
Al-Alimi appreciated the outstanding bilateral relations and British humanitarian and development interventions in different fields.
