Athletic Bilbao defeated its host Real Madrid, with two goals to one in the match that brought them together in the nineteenth round of the Spanish Football League.

Alex Berenguer and Gorka Gorosita scored Bilbao's goals in the 53rd and 80th minutes, while Jude Bellingham scored Real Madrid's only goal in the 78th minute.

The Athletic Bilbao team raised its score to 29 points in fourth place, achieving its third consecutive victory, while Real Madrid suffered its second loss in the league this season, freezing its score at 33 points in second place.
