Parliament headship convenes meeting to discuss topical issues

The leadership of the Parliament held a meeting today, Wednesday, presided over by the Speaker of the Parliament Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani.

The meeting aimed to discuss the political, economic, financial and monetary situations and the required measures to manage the challenges.

The necessary preparations to resume the Parliament's sessions were also discussed.

The headship of the Parliament also touched upon the ongoing efforts to implement the Economic Rescue Plan as soon as possible.

On another development, the leadership of the Parliament paid a visit to the headquarters of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen (SPDRY).

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed al-Jaber, the General Supervisor of the SPDRY briefed the headship of the Parliament on the projects which were carried out and the planned ones to be implemented in the upcoming period.

The Parliament leadership highly praised the supportive stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Yemeni people, deeply appreciating the Kingdom's continuous and generous support for Yemen in different fields and stages.
