Minister of Transport Dr. Abdel Salam Hamid, participated today, Thursday, in the Arab-European workshop on the establishment project for the supply chain for green hydrogen.
The discussions held in cooperation between the European Union, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and the Department of Transport and Tourism of the League of Arab States.
The workshop aimed to enhance Arab-European cooperation in the field of clean energy by reviewing the successful experiences of Arab countries in the field of green hydrogen and discussing ways to develop an integrated supply chain for this technology to enhance the sustainability of the transport sector in the Arab region.
Dr. Hamid stated that the idea of investing in the project of establishing green hydrogen supply chains in Yemen is a promising economic venture, calling on Arab and European partners and investors to come Yemen to establish their investment enterprises in the field of green hydrogen and form a model for successful cooperation in the field of clean energy.
