Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya al-Zindani met today, Tuesday, with the Deputy of the Special Envoy of the UN to Yemen Serhad Fatah.

They conferred over the situations in the Yemeni national scene and the developments about the good offices of the UN envoy to push the peace efforts in Yemen.

The conversations also touched on the available means to de-escalate the tension and allay the Yemeni people's suffering.

Dr. al-Zindani stated that the government is greatly appreciating the efforts have been made by the UN envoy, affirming the keenness of the political leadership on constructively dealing with all regional and international efforts to reach an inclusive political settlement based on the agreed on peace references and the UNSC's resolutions in relevance.
