The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Drug Control Department, participated today in the 38th International Drug Control Conference "AIDEC," held in the Greek capital, Athens, under the theme "Beyond Borders: Expanding Global Partnerships."
The conference agenda, running from September 24 to 26, features general sessions, innovative and interactive workshops, as well as bilateral meetings and presentations by participants, with the participation of Major General Abdullah Lahmadi, Director General of Drug Control.
The conference aims to enhance international cooperation and share experiences among countries in combating drug trafficking, highlighting the importance of global collaboration in addressing this issue.
It's worth noting that the "AIDEC" conference was established in 1983 to bring together high-level law enforcement leaders from around the world to discuss current and emerging threats in the field of drugs.
