His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) met today, Sunday, on the sidelines of the sessions of the UN General Assembly with the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman Badr bin Mohammed al-Bosaidi.

Aspects of Yemeni-Omani bilateral relations was key focus of the conversations.

The discussions also touched upon the developments about the Yemeni situation and mediation good offices by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman to launch an inclusive political process sponsored by the United Nations.

Foreign Minister Dr. Shaya al-Zindani, Yemen Representative to the UN Abdullah al-Sa'idi and Representative of the Sultanate of Oman Dr. Mohammed bin Awadh al-Hassan were in attendance.
