Minister of Finance Salem bin Braik and Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Salem Al-Soqatri inaugurated today, Saturday, in the interim capital of Aden, the First Aden Islamic Bank, with a total capital of about 45 billion Yemeni Riyals(YR).
A number of senior officials were in attendance including Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Salem al-Wali, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Dr. Mohamed Ba-Najah, some deputy ministers of the Ministry of Industry and several stakeholders.
Minister of Finance Ben Brik underlined the importance of establishing strong financial institutions that can support economic growth, achieve financial stability and strengthen the banking sector in the country.
