Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Baggash discussed with the Chief of Staff of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme Irfan Ali in a meeting here today the projects implemented by the program in Yemen in
cooperation with the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen and the Kuwait Fund for Development. Baggash highly praised the development projects that the program provides in Yemen, expressing our country’s aspiration for the program to provide more support in the field of housing and institutional support.
Baggash referred to the arbitrary measures taken by the terrorist Houthi militia against international organizations and their employees, calling on the organizations to move their headquarters to the temporary capital, Aden.
For his part, the head of the Office of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme confirmed the continuation of the program’s efforts to support development programs in our country, which contributes to alleviating the humanitarian crisis that Yemen is going through.
