A meeting held Monday chaired by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Yemen’s Governor to the World Bank Dr. Afrah al-Zouba and attended by a high-level World Bank delegation led by the Bank’s Vice President for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan Ousmane Dione discussed ways to enhance partnership and expand support across development, humanitarian, service, and economic sectors in the country.

Member or the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Faraj al-Bahsani greatly appreciated sacrifices extended by the government's armed forces to defend the significant national attainments and counter-Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias' coup and attacks.

He made his comments during his discussions today, Tuesday, with Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohsen al-Daeri in the transitional capital Aden.

General al-Bahsani also commended the tireless efforts made by the headship of the Ministry of Defense, troops, commanders and officers to stand up against the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias' scheme in Yemen and the region.
