Dr. Thabet touched on the efforts of the Ministry of Public Works in implementing a number of projects, including disaster damage repair projects, as well as our country’s experiences in the field of environmental conservation projects, pointing to the Khor Al-Mukalla project in contributing to diverting the flood outfalls in Hadhramaut to the sea.

The Deputy Minister called on the UN program to support Yemen’s proposal to establish a disaster management fund to support Arab countries affected by natural disasters, as well as to support the ministry in the fields of reconstruction, technical support, and staff training.
