General Ahmed al-Qubba took the constitutional oath today, Saturday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Maj. General Aidarous al-Zubaidi along with Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed Azua'abi and Aden Governor Ahmed Lamlas paid today, Wednesdays, an inspection visit to the Solar Energy Plant in the temporary capital Aden.

Aden Solar Energy Plant is funded by the UAE, it is being installed upon 1.6 square meter with total capacity 120 MGWAT.

Minister of Electricity and Energy Eng. Mane'a bin Youmain and the engineers detailed General al-Zubaid and Ambassador Azua'abi on the progress realized, the quality of the materials and the expected time left to get the work finished.

Al-Zubaidi urged doubling down the efforts to get the projected completed on time, training technical team to run the power station and make the needed maintenance.

The member of the Presidential Leadership Council reiterated thanks and gratitude to the brothers in the UAE for their generous and unlimited support for our country in the different fields.
