Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received Wednesday US Envoy for Yemen Tim Lenderking and US Ambassador to Yemen Steven Fagin.
During the meeting, President al-Alimi renewed Yemen's denounce to Israeli occupation's crimes against civilians in Palestine, the most recent one was yesterday's massacre when the occupation shelled a hospital in Gaza and killed hundreds of civilians among them children.
President al-Alimi confirmed support and solidarity of Yemen with Palestinian people and their right in defending themselves and establishing their independent state on the bases of international solution and Arab Peace Initiative.
The meeting tackled latest developments in Yemen and Saudi-led efforts for renewing the UN Truce and reviving the political process on the bases of the three internationally agreed upon references.
The meeting touched upon government's reforms and needed international support to improve services, livelihood situations and limiting severity of the humanitarian crisis made by Houthi militia with support from Iran.
