Yemen, Jordan discuss latest developments in the region

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi discussed on Sunday with Prime Minister of Jordan Hani al-Mulki latest developments in Yemen and conditions under Houthi-Saleh Militias' war on the people.
Al-Mikhlafi, who conveyed best wishes of President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi to King Abdullah the Second of Jordan, reviewed efforts of the government to realize peace and support to efforts of the UN and sponsoring countries of the political process in Yemen, noting that all these efforts have been thwarted by the militias which is still waging its war on the Yemeni people and destroying the country.
Al-Mikhlafi asked for activating the Supreme Yemeni-Jordanian Committee for resuming its meetings, providing medical assistances for facing cholera epidemic and easing measures of granting entering visas to Yemeni citizens for visiting Jordan.
The two parties also discussed latest developments in Arab Nation and threats facing its national security.
For his part, Jordanian Prime Minister renewed his country's position supporting legal government under President Hadi and support for facing extremism and terrorism of rebel militias.
He expressed his country's keenness on the stability and unity of Yemen and on sovereignty on its soil as well as support to the legitimate leadership to restore the state and fore peace efforts.
He highlighted preparations for holding the committee's meeting as soon as possible and confirmed his government's readiness to provide medicines and needed vaccines to the government of Yemen for fighting cholera epidemic.
