Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Bathib, discussed today, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the President of the Islamic Development Bank, Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser, a number of issues related to the bank's projects portfolio in Yemen, and aspects of future cooperation between the two sides.
The meeting, which comes on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the Islamic Bank, stressed on the importance of continuing to withdraw funds for the projects being implemented, especially the agricultural development project in Abyan and the Al-Houta water project as well as the possibility of financing the funding gap for the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Aden.
