Yemen participated in the meetings of the General Council of the World Trade Organization, held at its headquarters in Geneva, with a delegation headed by Yemen's permanent representative to the United Nations and the World Trade Organization, Dr. Ali Mujur.
The meeting will discuss a number of issues related to the multilateral trading system and the promotion of the trade exchange process for all member states and discuss the reports of the subcommittees, specifically the Committee on Electronic Commerce, the Committee on Agriculture and Food Security, the reform of the World Trade Organization, the Development Committee, and discuss preparations for the thirteenth ministerial conference of the scheduled organization.
