President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and with him the members of the Council, Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, Sultan Al-Arada, Tariq Saleh, Abdul Rahman Al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, Othman Majali, and Faraj Al-Bahsani, received the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s team to communicate with the Yemeni parties headed by Ambassador Muhammad Al Jaber.

The Saudi team briefed the President and members of the Presidential Leadership Council on the results of their visit to Sana'a and the discussions that took place regarding the files that were previously discussed with the Council in its meeting with Prince Khaled bin Salman, Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, appreciating in this regard the initiatives and care shown by the government to alleviate the human suffering of the people of Yemen in the areas under the control of the Houthi militia, including the payment of salaries, the expansion of travel destinations through Sana'a International Airport, and the opening of roads to Taiz and other cities.

In the meeting, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the members of the Council, affirmed full support for the efforts of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which comes as an extension of the Saudi initiative for peace in Yemen, which was announced in March 2021 AD and approved by the Yemeni government at the time, aimed at ending the suffering of the Yemeni people, and reaching a cease-fire. and to a comprehensive and sustainable political solution that achieves its aspirations to restore state institutions and revive the political process on the basis of references agreed upon nationally, regionally and internationally, and under the supervision of the United Nations.
