Yemen participated today in the second high-level regional meeting of the World Health Organization on the health of refugees and migrants, which was held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
The meeting will discuss strengthening cooperation and advancing an approach that includes the entire migration path, and ensuring that refugees and migrants throughout their migration path have access to health care, in line with universal health coverage and continuity of health care.
The meeting also reviewed, with the participation of 140 participants from 37 countries from the Middle East, Europe and Africa, the experiences of a number of countries in dealing with migration and lessons learned.
