The head of the Central Statistical Organization, Dr. Safaa Moati, discussed today, in the interim capital, Aden, with the country representative of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen (OCHA) in Yemen and his deputy ways to enhance cooperation and coordination with international organizations.
Dr. Safaa reviewed the organization's mechanism of action and the strategic role it plays, the frameworks for joint cooperation in data and activities, the challenges and difficulties it faces, and the appropriate tackling measures for the country.
For his part, the UN official stressed the importance of joint coordination with the Central Statistical Organization and helping it to overcome the difficulties that hinder its work through continued support to improve its capacity and develop its performance.
