Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, directed the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Najeeb Al-Awaj, and the General Manager of "Aden Net" Mansour Al-Walidi, to expedite the operation of Internet broadcasting stations in the liberated areas.
This came during his meeting, today, in the city of Al-Mokha, Taiz Governorate, with the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and the General Manager of the "Aden Net" company, to discuss the level of achievement in the expansion project being implemented by the "Aden Net" company under the supervision of the Ministry of Communications, to deliver Internet services outside Houthi control to the maximum extent possible in the liberated areas.
Brigadier General Tariq Saleh stressed the need to redouble efforts and ensure the operation of the Internet through "Aden Net" in the cities of Ataq and Mokha with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.
He stressed the importance of expediting the completion of the project and avoiding delays in order to achieve tangible steps that lead to freeing the telecommunications sector in general from the grip of the Houthi militia. In turn, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology stated that the Internet service provided by "Aden Net" will be officially launched at the end of this February, in the city of Mukalla, Hadramout Governorate, and the service will also be launched in Seiyun, Lahj and Abyan after one month.
