Republican decree on establishing al-Mahra University issued

The Republican Decree No. 23 of 2022 regarding establishing the University of al-Mahra issued Wednesday.

The second article of the decree stipulates that the university will be a Body Corporate and will enjoy financial and administrative independence within the framework of effective laws.

The third article stipulates that the location of the university will be in al-Ghaitha, the fourth article stipulates that the university will join institutions of higher education and the fifth article stipulates that the objectives of the university will be defined in accordance with effective laws of higher education.

The sixth article states that the decree shall be effective since the day of its issuance and shall be published in the state gazette.
