Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, affirmed the Kingdom's keenness and support for the Presidential Leadership Council in order to achieve security and stability for Yemen and its people.
In his annual royal speech to the business of the third year of the eighth session of the Shura Council, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques reiterated the Kingdom's firm position and support for everything that contributes to a permanent ceasefire, and the start of the political process between the Yemeni government and the Houthis in a way that preserves Yemen's sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity... stressing the need to stop Houthi armed provocative violations inside Yemen.
He said "We hope that the truce sponsored by the United Nations, in line with the Kingdom's initiative to end the crisis in Yemen, will lead to a comprehensive political solution" and achieve sustainable peace in Yemen.
