Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak met today, Tuesday, with the Moroccan Acting Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed Ashowiki.
Bin Mubarak welcomed the resumption of the Moroccan embassy in our country that will further promote bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries in different fields.
He hailed the outcomes of his recent state-visit to Rabat as fruitful, helped inking several MoU in different domains, increased Moroccan scholarships for the Yemeni students from 50 up to 100.
The conversations touched upon the latest developments about the political spectrum in our country amid Houthi militias' insistence on violence, rejecting all proposals aimed to stop war, initiate inclusive political process to make peace.
The Moroccan diplomat promised utmost efforts to further boost bilateral ties between the two countries, reiterating his country's support for the legitimate Yemeni government, Yemen's unity, security and stability.
