RIYADH-SABA
Yemen's Information Minister has raised the UNSC resolution 2624 which renewed the international consensus on the Yemeni crisis.

Muammar al-Eryani said the designation of the Iran-affiliated Houthis as a terrorist group and condemning their transborder attacks on civilian people and infrastructure in KSA and the UAE is "a step in the right direction."

Eryani said the voting on the resolution by 11 UN Security Council member countries reflects that the international community's convictions about the terrorist practices by the Houthi militia.

The minister warned the accomplices of the terrorist militia, legal personalities or individuals, of continuing involvement in the militia's acts demanding them to reconsider their stances.

The minister called on the UN General Assembly member countries to issue similar designation resolutions on the level of their countries.
