Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik has followed the efforts have been made by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and Yemen's embassy in Poland to secure the safety of the Yemeni students and nationals in Ukraine.
He conducted a telephone call to Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Poland Merfat Mujalli to know about the diplomatic mission's efforts to help evacuate the Yemeni students and nationals who want to leave Ukraine.
Ambassador Mujalli reported to Ma'een about underway contacts with authorities in charge in Poland and Ukraine to secure the safety of the Yemeni students and expatriates and facilitate their evacuation of everybody who wishes to depart Ukraine.
Mujalli confirmed that all Yemenis are safe and no casualty has been reported yet.
