The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak met here today with Minister of State in the German Foreign Ministry Tobias Lindner on the sideline of Munich Conference on Security.

The conversations covered a range of topical issues in Yemen including the latest political and military developments, Yemeni government's efforts to re-establish peace and Houthi militias' insistence on prolonging the war, further worsening the Yemeni peoples' suffering.

Bin Mubarak stated that the Yemeni government has been determined to change the balances of power on the ground, establish nationwide alignment to eliminate the militia's coup d'état and handle the economy's challenges.

The Foreign Minister called for ramping up international pressures upon Houthi militias, impose sanctions on its leaders to peace in Yemen.

The German Minister stated that Germany is willing to contribute to the peace efforts in order to end the war, reach peaceful settlement.
