Prime Minister stresses utilizing assistances to alleviate humanitarian crisis

Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik has confirmed the central role of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in making programs and plans for humanitarian response and economic recovery successful.

Presiding over a meeting on Tuesday for the leadership of the ministry of planning, prime minster stresses significance of doubling efforts to provide suitable environment for the work of international partners and directing assistances actively to alleviate severity of humanitarian crisis and focusing on developmental programs.

He directed working on speeding up procedures, enhancing transparency and facilitating activities of international organizations in Yemen, as well as boosting evaluation and control process on their performance.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wa'id Batheeb briefed prime minister on the ministry's performance and accomplishments in the past year and its plans this year.
